A woman that dedicated to the ideals and obtainment of peace, freedom, and democracy would not die so meekly and quietly as the medical droid said. But, what does the medical droid know? It only knows the concrete functionings of the human, of facts, figures, of myriad medical jargon that tears that the surface and fails to dig deeply into the soul of the human. No, Padme still lives, because there is still much work to be done. You can just hear her faint whispers, feel her touch as she whispers past.
